Automotive Window Tint

Three films. One purpose: lower the temperature inside your car.

Phoenix summer surface temperatures regularly clear 160°F on a dark dashboard. The right window film is the cheapest comfort upgrade on the vehicle, and it pays for itself in interior longevity. Wrapsesh has been installing tint in the East Valley since 2016, with a co-owner who carries 14+ years of automotive experience and 10+ years specifically in vinyl and film.

Pick the film that matches how you drive.

Ceramic tops the lineup for heat rejection and signal clarity. Carbon is the value sweet spot. Dyed is the budget pick when shade is all you need. Every film is offered across the legal VLT range and carries a manufacturer warranty.

Arizona Tint Law

Legal in the lane, dark in the back.

Arizona ARS §28-959.01 sets the rules we follow on every passenger-vehicle install:

  • Front side windows: 33% VLT minimum (some light must come through)
  • Rear side windows: no darkness limit when both side mirrors are present
  • Rear window: no darkness limit when both side mirrors are present
  • Windshield: non-reflective tint only above the AS-1 line
  • Reflectivity: maximum 35% on any window

Want fronts darker than 33%? We can sell and install non-compliant film, but you sign a waiver. We will not knowingly send a vehicle out the door without informing the owner of state code.

Tint FAQ

What people ask before they book.

What is the legal tint limit on front windows in Arizona?
Front driver and passenger windows must let at least 33% of visible light through (33% VLT). Rear side windows and the back glass can be any darkness as long as the vehicle has both side mirrors. We measure with a VLT meter before delivery so the install matches what you ordered and what the law allows.
How long does window tint last in the Arizona sun?
Quality ceramic and carbon films we install carry 10-year to lifetime manufacturer warranties and routinely outlast the original owner's time with the car. Cheap dyed film from a discount shop will fade to purple, bubble, and crack inside two to three Phoenix summers. The film we use does not.
Why does cheap tint bubble or turn purple?
Two reasons. First, low-grade dyed film loses its color when the bonding adhesive fails under UV exposure, so the pigment shifts toward purple. Second, the adhesive itself releases, creating air pockets that read as bubbles. The films we install use stable adhesives and color-stable pigments or ceramic particles, so neither failure mode is on the table.
Can old or failing tint be removed?
Yes. We remove old film, scrape adhesive residue, and prep the glass to a paint-shop-clean surface before laying new film. Removal pricing depends on how brittle the existing film is and whether your rear glass has defrost lines that need careful work.
My car came with factory tinted glass. Do I still need film?
Factory privacy glass is dyed during manufacturing and blocks visible light, but most of it does very little for heat or UV. Adding a ceramic film on top of factory-tinted rear glass dramatically improves heat rejection without changing the look. For the front windows, factory glass is almost always clear; that is where ceramic film makes the biggest comfort difference.
How long before I can roll the windows down after install?
Leave the windows up for at least 72 hours. You may see a light haze or small water pockets for the first one to four weeks while the adhesive fully cures. That is normal and clears as the film bonds.
Do you tint taillights and headlights too?
Yes. We carry Luxe Auto Concepts taillight and headlight film in light, mid, and dark variants across smoke, stealth, forged carbon, honeycomb, star power, brushed metal, and custom designs. We also install headlight PPF for owners who want maximum stone-chip protection without any tint at all.
How do I clean tinted windows?
Once cured, use any ammonia-free glass cleaner with a microfiber towel. No ammonia, no abrasive pads, no razor blades. That is it. The film cleans like any other piece of glass for the life of the install.
